Community
Community guidelines
Allez Club is made for women who want people to train with – and non-binary people are welcome too. These guidelines keep it a place where everyone feels safe showing up, and they’re part of our terms of use.
Show up as yourself
- Use your real first name and recent photos of you.
- Your face photo shows only you – no group shots, kids, pets or celebrities.
- Don’t pretend to be someone else, and keep to one account.
- Be honest about your sports, level and pace. It’s how people find the right match.
Keep it about training and friendship
- Allez Club isn’t a dating app. No flirting for dates, hook-up requests or romantic pressure.
- No selling, MLM, coaching pitches, promo codes or spam in cards, swipes or private messages. Your card isn’t an ad. Clubs, studios and coaches can talk about their sessions and prices inside the circle they run (see Organizing a circle).
- Only plan real sessions you mean to go to. No fake events or bait.
- Show up, or say so. Plans change – cancel or send “Running late” as early as you can.
Respect everyone
- No harassment, bullying, threats or hate – including about race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or anything else about who someone is.
- Respect people’s identities and pronouns.
- No body-shaming. Every body is an athlete’s body.
- No unwanted sexual messages, photos or videos – and nothing sexual in your card.
- Respect “no” and respect silence. If someone doesn’t reply, declines an invite or leaves a circle, let it go.
Every level is welcome
Easygoing or competitive, first 5K or tenth ultra – there’s a place for you here. Don’t mock anyone’s pace, level, gear or experience. If you’re faster, wait at the top. If you’re newer, just say so – people are glad to help.
Meet safely
- Get verified. Everyone you can match with, and everyone in circles and sessions, has verified their ID with a selfie.
- Meet in public. Sessions start at public places – trailheads, parks, rec centres, gyms, cafés. Never at someone’s home.
- Share my plan. Send the session details to someone you trust. The link stops working 24 hours after the session ends.
- Check in. After each session, tap “All good” or “Not okay”. “Not okay” goes straight to our team as urgent.
- Trust your gut. You can leave any session, any time, without explaining.
Verification confirms ID and age, not character. Stay aware, and train within your limits.
Protect each other’s privacy
- Don’t share other members’ photos, chats, cards or details outside the app.
- Photos are shown only to people someone is connected with. Screenshotting and sharing them breaks that trust – don’t.
- Never share someone’s location, address, workplace, routine or contact details without their clear OK.
- Don’t try to work out where someone lives or trains.
Organizing a circle
Organizers (a circle’s organizer and co-hosts) set the tone for everyone in it. With Community you get extra tools, and with them a little extra care:
- Share the QR code only where you mean to. Anyone with it can find your circle and join. A flyer at your club’s meeting spot is fine; a public post may bring people you didn’t plan for. If a code gets around, the organizer can make a new one.
- Keep the chat for announcements, not for silencing. Setting “Who can post in the chat” to Organizers is great for times, places and changes. Don’t use it to shut down fair questions or people you disagree with.
- Remove people fairly. Remove someone for how they behave, not who they are. If someone puts others at risk, report them too.
- Keep subgroup names about logistics, like “Sunday group”, “Early morning” or “Hill repeats”. Never about bodies, weight, health, injuries, age or anything personal. Members never see subgroups, but they still deserve respect.
- Respect invite-only sessions. If you weren’t invited, don’t ask others for the details. If you were, don’t forward the time or place to anyone else.
- Running a club, studio or coaching business? You’re welcome. Share your sessions, classes and prices in your circle, say upfront if a session costs money, and keep selling out of cards and private messages to people who haven’t joined.
- Use members’ cards only to run the circle. Organizers see members’ full cards and photos. Don’t share them, and don’t use them to contact people outside Allez Club.
18 and over only
Allez Club is for adults. Anyone under 18 isn’t allowed, and accounts of people under 18 are closed permanently. If you think someone is under 18, report them and choose “Underage”.
If someone breaks the rules
Report and block are always within two taps – from any card, chat, circle or session. Long-press a message to report it. Reports are confidential: the person you report isn’t told who reported them.
Real people on our team review every report and respond as soon as possible, urgent safety reports first.
Depending on what happened, we may:
- send a warning;
- remove content or photos;
- record a confirmed no-show;
- suspend the account for a while;
- ban the account permanently.
A permanent ban always needs two people on our team to agree. Banned means banned: making a new account to get around it isn’t allowed, and we block banned email addresses from signing up again.
Think we got it wrong? Write to support@allezclub.com.
Emergencies
If you or someone else is in danger, call 911 first. Then report it in the app so we can act on the account. Allez Club isn’t an emergency service and can’t send help.
How to report and get help
- In the app: tap Report on a card, chat, circle or session, or long-press a message. Add details and screenshots if you can. “Also block” is on by default.
- Safety and guidelines: tips for meeting, your trusted contact and emergency numbers, under You → Settings.
- Email: support@allezclub.com, or visit our support page.
Thanks for helping keep Allez Club a great place to train. Allez!
